Wally and I demonstrate 90 and 180 degree Rally pivots to both the L and R, and discuss how to teach them. We also demonstrate one way to teach the dog to back up. It's windy, so sometimes the audio is rather difficult to hear.
After a Catherine Zinsky seminar I went to work with her "method" - and it's really helping. I'm still making mistakes but practice is helping me with my timing and Wally overall. Also changed the way I do footwork on the halt/sit which really cues the dog and makes it better for them. Video quality isn't good, but you can get an idea.

Alice and Tess demonstrate how to teach your dog to finish to the R and L for AKC rally exercises 13-14-15-16, and how to teach the dog to come front after a sit at heel for exercises # 41 & 42.
Wally earns first leg toward CD with first place in novice B at the GSDCSAZ trial in Tucson on April 13 under Judge Susie Osburn. Wally's score was 186.5, which isn't a bad way to start your obedience career.
