The Shawnee National Forest makes for a wonderful place to train gaited horses. This descent is a bit tricky. Sandy said she would kill me if I took Blue's down it. Then she wanted to film me doing just that.

This is our friend on Bandit. Bandit is a
3 year old twh out for his second trail ride. He was great! We are blessed to live by and ride in the Shawnee National Forrest in Southern IL.
This is one of our brood mares, Dandy. She is a 12 year old MFT horse that performs mainly a running walk and a racking gait. She is smooth as silk and my wife loves riding her in the Shawnee National Forrest.
Rebel is an 8 year registered old twh. We have started him in endurance and he placed 3rd in his first 30 mile race. He does the running walk as his natural gait or way of movement.
