A dog falls through the ice at Cleveland's Edgewater park on Lake Erie in March of '07. I happen to be out there taking a break when I kept seeing a news helicopter circling overhead, and a few police cars come through there. So I grabbed my digital camera and followed the action. What's interesting is the story about how the Cleveland Police Department responded to the call about the dog.

Around 11am, the department was toned out to rescue a dog that got her head stuck in a metal watering can. Fortunately, the dog's owner and fireman Frank "Zoom" Kuchis were able to rescue her with the aid of some Dawn dish soap, tin snips, and only a few minor finger abrasions. :)
