December 2004 - My return trip to Nakhom Phanom, I walked around the small sleepy town on the bank of the Mekong River. Across the Mekong is the town of Takeg in Laos. I took out several of the Riverview Hotel front desk personnel for lunch and a cruise on the Mekong. A quiet, peaceful and relaxing place.
