This was a standard 2 channel 2 motor RC boat. But it has been upgraded to a Single Prop, Dual Rudder & Large Brushless Motor system, this gives proportional steering and throttle. The upgrade worked really well for a short time, but the plastic links couldn't cope with the extra power and snapped, the prop totally fell out resulting in no power and a bit of a water leak. And then it sank!

We booked Marriotts School Gym for some RC Heli Practice. So much easier to fly in a gym than outside! The first 60 seconds are my brushless Walkera 36, the rest is with a standard 36 with a 1800mAh lipo battery. 17th Feb 2008

Such a good day for flying I thought I'd take all 3 of my Walkera 36's out and get a sort of comparison video. Plus I never really get the chance to fly all 3 of them in one go.
- Red is totally standard.
- Black is upgraded to Brushless with better servos.
- Yellow is a brushless outrunner, upgraded servos, metal head.
All running on 2200mAh Lipos.

Moved onto some nose-in landings and take-offs. They are not perfect but it's something new for me, and at least there were no crashes (honest, the camera ran out of memory!) It almost looks like I know what I'm doing now!!! Dec 15th. Brrr.

My first trip to try flying in an enclosed building. I managed to get the Dance Hall at Marriotts School this time. Did some good flying, but was nervous of breaking the mirrors! Even Sarah managed to do some flying too. 10/02/08
This is my girlfriends truck, it was 2 channel but I upgraded it with a decent brushless motor and speedcontrol, added a receiver and a servo for the steering, and now it goes really well. In fact I was never able to get it to full throttle.

I havent posted for a while so thought I would upload this. There's a few new bits in it.
This is standard out of the box, brushed motor, usual Walkera transmitter and electronics, etc. It's actually flying really well to be honest.
My first trial of videoing my 36 with the tramsmitter included. Very odd being able to look at my thumbs! I'll do better next time. Notice the slight wobble on the camera facing my thumbs. Thats my heart beat!!! The camera was hanging round my neck.
