Jasmine is a client dog that was in for two weeks basic training. Like all dogs we train, she learned to remain calm and relaxed around distractions, including ducks, cats and dogs.
This is Bruiser. She is a Pit Bull. Unfortunately, her owners waited until she was five years old to seek professional training. Having been chained much of her life, she had developed some terrible habits - cat killing, dog aggression, growling at her owners... you name it, she had it.
Nana, a six month old Newfoundland puppy, is shown learning how to pull a cart. She attended three weeks of basic training in our Board & Train program, then came back a few weeks later with her cart. Please note that the cart is not perfectly sized for the dog, but it is the equipment that the owner dropped off.

Rocky came to DarnFar Ranch for basic training as a six month old puppy. His owner reported that Rocky had some difficulty leaving cats alone. So, like all dogs that come to DarnFar Ranch for training, Rocky learned to tolerate and in fact, like cats.
This Border Collie puppy was not quite ready to go home to her new family for Christmas, so we created this video. The parents, who kept the puppy as surprise from their daughters, gave their girls this video at Christmas time and then came to get the puppy a couple weeks later.
Angel, an Australian Cattle Dog that HATED getting her nails trimmed, came to dog training at DarnFar Ranch. Dogs must learn to submit to being handled and groomed, including nail trimming. This video shows the progression of moving a dog to the point of relinquishing control and submitting to the grooming.
We do custom dog training and utilize lots of distractions in training. Our cats are trained to participate in a dog's training so that the dog learns to ignore the cats.
Kara came to DarnFar Ranch for social rehabilitation as she had become aggressive, especially around kids. After her training was close to complete, we took her out in public, to a park, where she could experience children playing.
Misty was running loose, spent 30 days in waiting for her owners to find her, then was going to be euthanized. We took her into our 360 Degree Dog Program - dedicated to rehabilitating and professionally training homeless dogs. Eddie's former owner said that he was going to take the dog out back and shoot him because he had started chasing horses. Of course, that's a training and management issue, not a problem with the dog! We took Eddie into our 360 Degree Dog program that is designed to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs.
